There's some people that think that most everyone wants to switch to UT. Robey is someone I think we passed on earlier in the year, IIRC. Seems he was ready to commit, but we weren't ready to take it.

I think we set good with him. If we are going to turn someone, this is the guy I think we have the best chance with atm...

We want him pretty bad. Monte and Reaves had an in-home with him December and we have stayed on him hard...

I don't disagree with that, but I seem to remember some chatter about him wanting to commit but the coaches not wanting to take it at that point.

Just so happens a Nickell Robey article came out today...

"I've got my options open," he said. "It's just to be on the safe side. The defensive coordinator got fired, so I'm just opening my options back up and looking at other schools."

"I'm considering Tennessee more now, because they've been recruiting me since the beginning," Robey said. "Even then, they were on my top and everything."

Robey and Dorsey are 2 of the fastest DB's in the country, Lane loves the speed as do I, any chance he can return punts?? Man Rogan is the frekin king of the fair catch I am sick of it

didnt really know why kiffin was going after this kid so hard being that hes been commited to georgia forever. then i looked at the under armour combine over the summer. posted a 4.3. i now know why. our only shot is if theres enough doubt in his mind about the coaching staff at uga. lookin good so far

Georgia let go of defensive coordinator Willie Martinez, but does that still weigh on Robey’s decision?

“Yeah it does, He was my main recruiter, and my defensive coordinator and my defensive backs coach, so that took a chunk out of me. But I’m still committed to Georgia.”

“Tennessee, West Virginia, and USF,” said Robey.

Georgia has no shot if they dont hire a D-Coordinator, but I'd imagine if they do hire one before NSD, his 1st duty would be to make sure Robey is solid to UGA
