'10 FL ATH Nickell Robey

While you are right about Stone, he would've been replaced by Chaz Green. As for Hunter, some reliable posters on TOS say that O and CLK's plan for Hunter was to pull a Janzen Jackson signing day switch a roo. Even under the new staff, Hunter committed to Willie Mack Garza.

Hunter was a Vol a good week before the previous staff left for USC. It was widely known a switch was coming. Hell Hubbs even said Hunter was going to be a Vol no matter who they hired to replace Kiffin.

Sounds like our track coach is a pretty good recruiter then, eh?

That's all fine and dandy but Dooley is just as hot on the trail as Kiffin was at this point. Kiffin would have reeled in some All-SEC performers if he'd stayed, but he didn't. Water under the bridge. Dooley gave us a small glimpse of his abilities by finishing with a solid class in absolute terrible conditions...and he's has had elite talent on campus all summer and it looks like that will continue.

Now, can they close? Will the product on the field this fall be too bland to overcome? I don't know. But if you compare where we were on June 17, 2009 to where we are now, then it's pretty even. Dooley is getting a major bad rap from a select few. It's sad and unsubstantiated, because he's doing a great job.

Agree it is all water under the bridge.
