Yeah, according to Menzie we're out. I think his parents want him close to home.

We take Robey and Demetrius Wright if we can get both. Otherwise, one corner and a safety. Likely Dixon.

What!!? When did Menzie eliminate us? I normally take pride in always staying current in recruiting but this must of went over my head. I thought this guy was a UT lock.

Southern Pigskin is who reported that Robey was looking around a month ago and that Monte Kiffin visited him. Robey is one of the few recruits SP has an inside source on and always quote his coach. Tonight they tweeted the following:

"Frostproof Fl defensive back Nickell Robey visited TN and will trip to Georgia then WVU and USF in January. Tenn could be the team to beat.. "

This was posted on VQ... I heard Robey had an awesome visit to UT. This helps confirm it...

I don't know where "TN could be the team to beat" is coming from. Nickell sure hasn't let on at all.

The reason I have him picked as my surprise is that it would be a "surprise" to land him. It's more of a guess than anything because his interview almost sounded too demonstratively anti-UT.

Reminds me of Nuke getting off the plane and saying he'd see UT when the Gators played them.

Yes more good news! With luc committing/decommitting and another vol lock (menzie) dropping us we need it.
Man i feel like james bond in the first Daniel craig when he learns that he cant trust anyone. For now own ill be happy but ill wait for the sig to get really excited.

I loved Menzie. I think he will be a stud for whoever gets him and almost everyone on here said he could make any of our dbs look silly.

"I am waiting to see who they (UGA) hire," Robey said. "That's part of why I am still looking at some other schools. You gotta see what is happening at Georgia and then go from there."

"The visit with coach Kiffin went well," Robey said. "It was fun to hang out with him and talk. We talked about everything. He's a good guy and a good coach. I like Tennessee. I think they have a nice swagger about them. I was up there in the summer and then this fall for an official visit. They are building something special up there."

Could have an impact like Brandon James on special teams for us IMO, would love to have him Kiffin wants more speed and hes the definition

I think he's lookin for any reason to flip flop on UGA. no matter who they bring in as DC, he'll be a VOL

does UGA even have a couple guys on the radar to get that job? Ive heard nothing
