ESPNU 150 Nickell Robey switches pledge from Georgia to Trojans
Four-star cornerback/receiver Nickell Robey of Frostproof, Fla., has pledged to Southern California for the Class of 2010 after decommitting from the Bulldogs.
Tthe 5-foot-8, 160-pound prospect also considered West Virginia in making his final decision.
Robey was also offered by South Florida, Florida, Tennessee, Michigan, Ohio State, Stanford, Clemson, Virginia Tech and Western Kentucky, among many others.
"Me, coach Monte, coach Lane, coach Garza and coach Orgeron all have great relationships. From when I first met them at the Tennessee camp, they showed me a lot of love. They took me in immediately. Ever since then, we've clicked.
“She (my mom) liked coach Monte so much, and coach Lane. She had good instincts, so I thought about it and went with it."
Nah, a lot of kids commit to staffs. Kids like Jacques commit to schools they grew up loving.
Then why did Corey Miller say he would leave if UT had hired Troy Calhoun?
