Next up is a trip to Tennessee this upcoming Friday. While Knoxville is next up for a visit, neither prospect mentioned the Vols as one of their leaders.
"I am really pretty open right now," Lemonier said. "I just want to look at a lot of schools and see where they are right now. I don't really have a leader or even a list of favorites right now."
2. VOGT: Corey Lemonier, DE, Hialeah -- "With the #2 overall pick I am extremely happy to take DE Corey Lemonier. I feel I am getting the #1 player in talent rich Dade, the #1 Defensive lineman in the state, and a player that still possesses a lot of upside. He has prototype skills and the versatility to play either strong-side or weak-side DE which in turn allows me to be patient down the road with my second DE. His athleticism even allows me to go with some 3-4 looks. Lemonier's ability to get after the QB will allow my defense to not have to be blitz a lot, and I hope to land some ballhawks down the road in my secondary. He has the ability to be the most feared defender in Florida."
Speaking of recruiting, what schools are recruiting you the hardest right now? “The schools that have been recruiting me the hardest is Tennessee, Florida Auburn, and Illinois,” said Lemonier. “I haven’t heard from New Mexico in a few days, but I know they are recruiting me as well.”
