“The team that’s recruiting the hardest is probably Tennessee because they send me emails just about every day.”
“I was supposed to go to Tennessee but that didn’t work out so I didn’t know,” he said. “We were trying to find a cheap plane ticket to go there but the plane ticket was too much so we couldn’t make it.”
"I did not commit to Illinois today (Thursday). How those rumors started, I have no idea. I didn't commit anywhere. I don't know how all the rumors got started. I've been getting a lot of texts about it, and I'm really interested in Illinois, but I never committed. I plan on taking an official to Illinois this fall."
As far as other schools go, Lemonier said, "Florida St., Tennessee, Auburn, Florida, Miami (Fla.) and Illinois are recruiting me the hardest." When asked about other official visits, Lemonier continued, "I want to go visit Florida St. for the first game of their season against Miami, but I'm not sure what other visits I'll take for now."
We are in it for so many here.
Of course everyone yells at me that we are out for Powell. Beat the Gators in the Swamp while he visits with a couple sacks for Ben Martin, Chris Walker etc and we are right back up there I would say.
Quarles, Ego...
Just nice to be in a very different position from so many schools who are basically done for their class or who do not have as much going.
ESPN• Tennessee is making a strong push for Under Armour All-American defensive end Corey Lemonier and defensive tackle Calvin Smith (Hialeah, Fla./Hialeah) , according a source familiar with the recruitment of both players. Vols head coach Lane Kiffin spoke with both players via phone within the last week and the conversation went well for Tennessee. Running backs coach Eddie Gran, who has been recruiting South Florida well for more than a decade, is leading the charge along with defensive line coach Ed Orgeron and Kiffin. An official visit has not yet been scheduled but will be set up and there is a strong believe that the Vols have a tremendous shot.
