LV, who did you mean to say we lead for?
and how does lemonier stack up next to miller or willis?
Illinois, Auburn, Tennessee, Florida, Florida State, Ole Miss, Miami. Those are the schools that are looking at me the most.
"I came with a friend - it was good," Lemonier said. "I got there seven minutes into the first quarter and I left in the third quarter because my friend wanted to leave."
"I was rooting for Miami, of course," he said of Saturday's game. "I was surprised at what happened. I thought UM would win."
Lemonier says he spoke with Cane coach Wesley McGriff over the phone before the game.
"He said to look for him (before the game) but unfortunately I didn't get to see him," Lemonier said.
Asked where Miami stands in his recruiting picture, Lemonier said, "They're pretty high up."
Asked his other favorites, he simply said, "Everyone else recruiting me. I have no No. 1 school right now."
Hialeah High defensive end Corey Lemonier is hard to read. At one point, this was a battle between Illinois, FSU and Miami. Now it appears the 'Canes have the lead for his services, with Florida State still in the mix, Tennessee charging hard and Illinois fading. Lemonier has been to FSU and Illinois on official visits and will visit Tennessee when the Vols play host to Vanderbilt on Nov. 21. He also plans to visit Miami. The Hialeah High campus is about 15 miles from UM's campus in Coral Gables.
I think that TN is right there. I haven't talked to my contact close to their situation in a couple of weeks. I do think that Illinois is a very real player in that race and maybe could get at least Smith if not both if it ended today but the longer it plays out the more I like Tennessee's chances.
Lemonier we will see in the post-season and that will be his opportunity to move up. We have a hell of a time getting any film out of Hialeah on Smith though but supposedly we may have some coming.
