"They are standing good," Pahokee defensive tackle Richard Ash said. "It helps that I have a teammate that is going to up there. Coach G(ran) is doing a great job in South Florida. I don't know much except what I've been told, but I want to learn about them. I'm probably going to go up for a visit this summer with some of my teammates."
"I already told coach Meyer I'm gonna be a Gator, but free visits means I get wined and dined," said Ash, who plans to make his verbal commitment on Sept. 25.
Don't know how reliable this source is but this article says he is going to be a Gator.

:ermm:Ash has been to Gainesville twice, and while he won't be camping this June, he plans to come with teammate Chris Dunkley. Dunkley, who is one of the top receiver prospects in the country, has been quiet about recruiting for the most part. When I asked Ash where he thought Dunkley would be committing he left me with this: "It's a secret."
Is there news from Ash or is just enjoying being wined and dined?
“I almost didn’t make the trip,” Ash told InsideTennessee.com Sunday. “I had heard a lot of good things and a few bad, but I’m certainty glad I made the trip, it was so much better than I expected it to be.”
“Coach O is incredible,” Ash said. “He really knows his stuff. I can easily see why he is considered one of the best defensive line coaches in the country.”
“They definitely helped their cause with me,” Ash stated. “Tennessee is definitely in a better spot with me after this visit.”
"USC is my top school now. They moved ahead of FSU and Florida."
Who else is under consideration for that fifth slot?
"I would say Tennessee. I have to put them in there somewhere. That is basically it and FIU too."
"USC is a big time school and a big time program," said Ash. "They are always putting people in the league, look at what they did last year with how many guys were drafted. That's something that really caught my eye".
Ash is unsure of when he will make a college commitment as several of his Pahokee teammates will be making their announcements in late August prior to their season opener. Ash said he may decide by that date or he may wait. WeAreSC will be in contact with him later this summer to follow up on the situation.
