ESPN has him rated as the #15 kicker in this class. I'd love to see the 14 seniors that have a leg stronger than his.

Unbelievable hangtime on his punts from tonight!

Also, subtract 10 yards from his kick-off's and he'll still be putting the ball 5 yards deep in the end zone. Absolutely incredible for a 17-18 year old.

This young man might be our MVP recruit of this class, never underestimate the power of good special teams!

I am quite sure...he has to be one of Monte Kiffin's favorite recruits....did you all see him absolutely blast the ball out of the endzone tonight. I look forward to see that on the hill.
After seeing Cunningham kick it and seeing opposing teams routinely start at the 30-40yd line...you better believe Monte is going to adopt him as his 3rd son. :)

I seriously think after watching him last night, i will be buying Vol gear with his number if sold. This guy really is the real deal. And as for #15 ESPN, that discredits their whole ranking process.

Since they made Jeff Hall jerseys, I think there should be a Palardy or two in the future.

just curious...English Vol....how did you become a Vol fan? I am guessing you are from here but ....who knows?

Whats the story?

Nah i do live in England, the first ever CFB game i ever watched was Tennessee vs i think Michigan a couple o fyears back on a freeview show. Then when i finally got the right package a couple of years later after fully getting involved in football i saw UT a couple of times(2 years ago) and then last year despite playing poorly(understatment or what) they were on tv a whole lot. I just liked the way they played, and picking favourite players like EB, Mayo and ofcourse Rod Wilks :p , as i saw them alot i stuck with them..then finding this board and more streams ive got even more into UT/CFB than the NFL.

Oh and i hated Tebow and the Gators before picking a team so being a rival only adds more things to love

What were his stats? I saw him barely miss a 49 yarder, wide left I think. He had a ton of leg on it though!!!

Its 5 yards back, not ten. ( i think) and He had a 57 yard punt. Thats amazing for the pros and this kid is in high school!

Pretty sure it's 10 since they moved the NCAA kickoffs back to the 30 a couple of years ago.

Okay. I thought NCAA kicked off from the 35. Sorry bout that. But i personally dont think its going to matter. Kid may have one of the strongest legs in the country the min he steps on campus.

looks like our secret weapon...Booming kickoffs and his punts have qute the hang time....he boomed that one 50 yards with monster hang time not a chance anyone could return that type of punt in college..the returner would be surrounded by the punt coverage team

It is amazing how many people do not understand the importance or ST. Field position, field position, field position!!! When you have to go 80 yrds vs 60 yrds. with a tough defense, you are always in the game. The defensive coach for STA, after the Byrnes game said, "Palardy won that game for us!"

He is going to make a huge improvement to our ST next year.
