Just talked to my buddy and he said Scout.com changes anyone who is still taking visits as a soft verbal. Same friend stalks recruits on facebook and said Parlady has unblocked him and fellow vol members and is all VOL

Not so. If that were the case almost everybody would be a soft verbal.

for those of you who haven't heard Parlady and his HS coach are not impressed with our choice of Eric Russel as ST coach. He's concerned with the performance of LA Tech kickers as well. Furthermore there was a huge meltdown on Volquest when one member insulted both Parlady and his HS Coach(who frequents volquest message boards). Parlady then blocked UT fans from his facebook and put something on his status to the effect of him re-thinking his commitment. Hope this all blows over quickly as he may be our most important recruit

Must be a troll acting like he is a Vol fan! I have heard nothing but good things about him from Vol fans! I hope he comes to UT because he is a great kid and a great kicker! He will start from day 1 if we get him! :good!:

The first thing you need to do is change your screen name. The 2nd thing you need to do is quit going to every post and ranting because the AD department did not ask you for your opinion on who the new coach should be. Either be a VOL FAN OR GTFO! You remind me of our previous coach, you claim to be something your not. :realmad:

great news. would you mind mentioning that on the parlardy thread in the football forum? They are accusing me of being a troll, someone who could confirm there was an indeed an incident with Parlardy would give me some cred

yea those folks had a freak out session over at Volquest this afternoon..the sad part it was all started by a rival troll that was not a TN fan who made the stupid post...everything will be fine after they talk IMO

If he does switch he will def be missed, but i'm sure there has got to be another kicker that could kick it further on kick-offs than cunningham....and as we have seen a walk on kicker was better than anything else we have.

All that being said....I really want this kid.

Heard in house visit scheduled for this week from CDD. Heard that Miami wants in house visit as well before his visit. Also rumors that other big name programs are inquiring.

Pretty much the same - Miami's just a fallback option in case things completely fall through.

It does sort of hint that he might not sign anywhere on signing day in case he needs more time to think.

And he talked to CDD for a few minutes last night.

Never in my life have I seen such interest in a kicker! We all know how important having a good kicking game is (ESPECIALLY after last year), but it's most often an under-appreciated position. Where else could this young man go that he'd get the instant celebrity status and attention like the Volunteer Nation is so obviously willing to put forward (myself included)?

Not to sound like Lame/Ogre, but c'mon to Tennessee, Michael, and be a rock star!

We will be fine IMO with Palardy...they read a post from a troll which is why players and those with influence should not take message boards so seriously because anyone could post anything acting like they support a school.

Eric Russell is an outstanding special teams coach as you can tell with his overall unit performances...you can't put too much stock in fg% when Palardy prob has 3 times the physical talent than any of the kickers Russell had to coach, but Russell has built very strong units to surround his kickers which should be the focus point of his research.

We NEED Palardy. If he comes to Tennessee he will be a 4 year started and will win some games with us.

I don't think UT or its fan base has ever been more excited about a kicker than we have been with Palardy. And I hope he reads this.... we need the guy.
