We need Peyton to come close the recruiting deal on this one.

"Hey, idiot kicker! Go play for UT! They have plenty of Sony HDTVs on campus that you can watch me, Peyton Manning play in the Super Bowl on."

Commit!

But it does seem odd...that if he is "all Vol"...why hasn't MP come out & confirmed that he is "all Vol" after his visit to Miami?

I'm not in panic mode, but if he isn't seriously considering Miami or another school....why the silence from the MP camp?

He's stated he's all Vol before and unless something changes I doubt he will state otherwise. I don't see him making any annoucements unless it is to committ to another school, which IMO is unlikely. Come next Wed this program should be solved.

Coach Conrad just posted over on VQ that Michael has officially eliminated Miami. Looks like he's all Vol.

I am not on board that Palardy is the most important recruit this class (you need people to get you into field goal range first), but he is very important. This is great news and I pray ends the roller coaster of recruitment.

Considering the coaching staff let him know that he was their #1 priority to finish this class, while in his home, you would be wrong about that. Either way, your right, it is great news.

Did Conrad identify the 3rd school that he said may be in play this week?

Didn't I see a quote from Conrad on here somewhere that there is a possible third school besides TN and Miami that MP is looking into? Why not declare for the Vols if he's truly "All Vol"? I won't feel good about this until he signs on the dotted line.

No, but I think all that is out the door, IMO. Michael realized how great Knoxville was during his Miami visit. Michael committed to a city and school, that's the way you do it, IMO.

Good deal. I'd like to hear the story on that after he signs with us. That camp has been really hush hush for a few weeks. I think we may have had a real battle going on behind the scenes.

Not nearly as quiet as Chaz Greene's corner. That kid barely exists.

That's a shame. Both his parents went to UT. Thought that was a for sure in. It usually is in the south. Peyton Manning and J. Clausen excluded of course.

True, but you need someone to keep the other team out of range as well. When you are punting from your own endzone and you have someone that can put the other team back on their own 40 or 45, that is a true weapon. Gives the defence a chance to change the field position to their advantage. It all counts in the outcome of the game. I'd rather have it than not!!!

touchbacks on kickoffs are very important and extremely helpful, especially when our kickoff coverage is very poor.
