Scout published Special Team stats for 2009:
- Eleventh in kickoff coverage at 39.0 net yards.
- Dead last in field-goal kicking at 61.9 percent (13 of 21).
Palardy can win us some games......Did we ever kick the ball in the end zone last year? I don't recall we did.

Dangit I can't wait to see this kid in orange!Palardy loves the competition! He will make everyone better. He comes from a program that is not used to and does not like to lose. When we bring in kids from programs like this, our program can't help but get better. I saw him kick a couple of weekends ago, a bit of a tailwind...KO's into and out of the endzone in the deep corner. Doesn't get any better than that. FG's right down the middle from 50 and 55 with room to spare. He wasn't punting, but pick up a couple of balls from the opposite side forty, punted them down to the endzone with hang times that were forever! It should be a real treat to watch him perform for UT.
