Well, that's not what you said in your original post. Just to make sure there is no doubt, Everette Brown, Andre Fluellen, Graham Gano, Letroy Guion, Geno Hayes, and Lawrence Timmons are all "contributing" in the NFL and are all in the last 4 years to come out of FSU, with Patrick Robinson, Myron Rolle, and Rodney Hudson all projected to be draft picks in this years draft. The things you say about campus being crappy and the school not being good are just wrong.

^Very true I love how every recruit on here that FSU is ahead of UT is nothing but a delusional Flame session.....Since when did Knoxville become the center of the college football world?

FSU isn't too bad for a Women's University. Do you guys happen per chance to have the dagger that you pulled out of Bowden's back on display somewhere on campus?

no I'm not, the only campus I've ever seen that was uglier than FSU is Drexel in Philadelphia.

I'm not saying Jones and Luc are stupid for not committing to tenn, obviously I would want them to come, I am saying they are idiots for choosing to play at a dead-end program, for a lame coach, in a hiddeous town.

FSUs defense will be legit anyways though. Reid and Joyner will be the best CB and return duo in the country, plus they've got a ton of other good young talent from what I remember.

Its just a matter of who they bring in for the DC (If they haven't already got someone? Haven't kept up with it a whole lot)

im stuck in ACC country and have to watch FSU, Maryland, UNC and other crap teams play on local sports all the time. fsu has a horrendous defense. VT has the best D in the ACC that i saw this year

Feel your pain on being stuck in the middle of ACC country. Thank the heavens ESPN and the SEC made that deal. Makes life a whole lot better. I try my best not to watch the ACC though.

In the 90's it was still an ugly place, crappy school and campus, but had great coaching, amazing recruiter in Bowden. None of that exists anymore. FSU of the 90's will become what SMU of the 80's was....

Lawrence Timmons is a starting ILB for the Pittsburgh Steelers, and FSU has a very good pedigree for LB's just like UT. In fact, OLB Dekoda Watson may very well go before Rico McCoy in the 2010 NFL Draft.

To call Luc or Jones idiots for choosing to go to FSU is showing your ignorance. Just take solace that they're not going to Florida.

Their D was terrible this year, but I'm thinking that was more of the scheme tbh. They've got a lot of good young players and Reid could be the best CB in the country next year, and probably the best return man too.

We'll see. If Stoops is really who they got, he's pretty solid. Nothing spectacular, but good enough to get a lot out of the talent.

Yeah, I was just ranting about NFL contribution, shouldn't have said that. But FSU is a dumb college decision. They will get horrible defensive coaching there. by the way, QUIT DEFENDING FLORIDA STATE.

It isn't like they don't have talent now. Watson, Bradham, and the CBs are all legit, but the D is awful. The coaches have to do something. Talent has never been the problem at FSU...

Florida State has blown for a while as you described yourself. I never compared Tennessee as being far superior than them so you're putting words in my mouth. However, although I am biased, Tennessee has been more relevant than FSU recently. Although people bash the 2007 team, they went 10-4 and almost beat the eventual national champions in the SECCG. In 2001 UT was a game away from playing Miami in the national title game, and would have played them a lot tougher than Nebraska. Florida State plays in the ACC, which for the last 5-6 years has been garbage and struggles to win 8 games.

^^That is the problem i have with some of these crazy's on here. They make it sound like UT is so far superior than FSU that any recruit that would choose us over ya'll is throwing away their life lol. Last time I checked FSU is one of the most prestigious programs in college football and has had a great pipeline of D players in the NFL. Either way there's no need to throw dirt, I have a lot of respect for ya'll and hope we both turn it around.
