Stanford has always been that dream academic school for a lot of recruits, but most just list them because of that. He may have genuine interest in them, but listing FIU over UT tells me he wants to play close to home.

He visited Michigan a couple of months ago, loved it, and named them as his leader. The last I heard, Torrian still had the Wolverines as his #1...

Harbaugh is looking to turn that program around. I don't know if he does so I'm guessing Wilson chose Stanford for academics. That's if the rumor is true.
