I understand there are levels of committment, but if your still open, how are you committed. If he backs out, he backs out. Not really worried about it. This staff is on enough players, we will be fine.

So is he not likely to get in? Hence the interest elsewhere?

That's possible from the standpoint that it could have caused us to back off, but the other schools are armed with the same info we are. It's possible that they would be more willing to sign and place a guy or if we have 5 question marks at this point, the coaches may not feel comfortable with that while another school may not have anyone about whom they have trepidations. Hard to say. Could just be wanting to look around.

We have talked about him not making it because of grades for a while...

Maybe this deserves a whole post...

Broussard will not be here either.

I had to go back a few pages to pick this player up, but rivals has a new article impling that his grades are OK. It does say he is a soft verbal to us. Anyone have any other info.

I don't think there's much to indicate he's a high priority for us with Taylor committed and Luc and Christian Jones considering us.

I'm curious if a JUCO LB will get offered considering that we need immediate help.

I think we lose Williams but sign luc,Taylor, jones, and Irvin switches back on signing day! How great would that be!

Time to dust off his thread and give this kid some credit. He may be looking around and there is a decent chance we lose him, but he is still committed to UT. I haven't seen any video on him, but how long do you think it takes him to make an impact?(granted if he stays)

What kind of a chance do we have at keeping him? Or is he just a fall back plan in case we whiff on some other guys?

Good question. It seems like the staff likes him enough to keep recruiting him. He may be a sleeper, but we will not really know until we see him play in college. Anyone have any info on how the staff sees him?

"I was named 1st Team All-Dade, and I got invited to the All-American game. I had prior plans so I can not play in the game. I had 16 sacks and 80 tackles on the season. I also had 5 rushing TD's and 2 blocked punts."

What is going on with his Tennessee commitment?

"I am still committed. My dad is helping me out with the recruiting process, and he does not want me to decommit or anything, but he tells me not to focus on one school but all of the schools who are still interested in me. I still love Tennessee though. I feel I could be a part of that program."

"I am going to Tennessee on the 15th, Ole Miss the 22nd, and Virginia the 29th. I went to Arkansas a couple of weekends before Christmas (Dec 11th). It was a great trip too."

"Everybody is showing the same amount of love as we get closer to signing day. Me and Coach Eddie Gran were very tight at Tennessee, but he went to Florida State. Now I am trying to build that relationship with Coach Thompson at Tennessee. We are trying to build that bond like Coach G(ran)."

Per Scout... This is a FREE READ. Sounds like we like him alot...

That sounds good, I was under the impression that he had pretty much de-committed but it sounds like we might be able to hang on to him.

He is a solid OLB....very fast for 225......I hope some of these get through without a lot of noise sometimes....:shhh:
