What they are trying to say is don't post for awhile until you understand more about recruiting. People are waisting time reading your post thinking that something with some importance was posted. Just slow down and think about what you are posting before you sumbit it. Everyone understands that you are a Vols fan, like the rest of us, but just read and absorb some knowledge before you post in every thread. Thanks

Is that even an expression or do only people wearing jorts know that one?

I'm guessing you don't follow recruiting much or you would know the expression. When a recruit commits on national tv, he has various hats on the table in front of him and picks the hat where he is going. It is a pretty common expression and my god I hate how our fans where jorts it drives me up the wall. Usually it is just our stupid fans who never even went to the school.

You can't even imagine how embarrassing some of our fans our. I hate that we have fans that treat other teams fans like crap and throw stuff at them. It makes everyone at UF look bad and so do those stupid jorts. We got a new batch of freshman today and guess what they are still wearing those stupid things.

I have a confession to make... I wore jorts in 6th and 7th grade.

There have been rumors for a month or so that the Vols are in it big time time with Green, but he's trying to keep it low key. Regardless of what he is saying now, don't be shocked if he is wearing Orange on NSD and you can thank Eddie Gran...

May not be true, but I've heard it at least 3 times...

What's the word on this kid and us now?

There's a lot of excitement for several recruits right now, but this tread, as much as any, deserves a timely "bump". If you're not excited by the possibility of getting this guy then watch his sophomore highlight video:
YouTube - Christian Green- Sophomore Highlights
Also, consider that before he was moved to QB as a sophomore, he had 10 TD receptions from the receiver position as a freshmen.

He's the teammate of Chaz Green and the whispers in FL are that Chaz has been in his ear about Tennessee. If he visits us, anything's possible. This is a guy worthy of keeping an eye on, and def worthy of a courtesy "bump" in the forum!

This guy would put Nuke's wildcat package to shame, no offense to Nuke--who I'm starting think is overrated...

I don't think you can really call a true freshamn half way through the season overrated. He is still learning the playbook, getting up to SEC game speed, etc. He has seen the field a lot, so clearly the coaches think he is worth some pt.

I'm talking about overrated compared to what Kiffin was saying about him before the season started. I don't really care about his Top 100 ranking. I was also thinking more in terms of his #2 status on rivals "most likely to take it to the house" list. I realize he's just a freshmen but Teague is more dynamic from what I've seen and he's only a freshmen, too. I just don't see the "best player maker on the team" status that Kiffin gave him back in August (or something similar). Y'all need to relax, not me. Sheesh. A man can't have an opinion 'round here?!?

Besides, if you're not talking about Christian Green, who's a possibility now it seems, than you're just wasting a post. I meant that comment to be more about Green's abilities as a wildcat option in addition to his WR potential than a Nuke-dis. I shouldn'ta said it. My bad. I like Nuke. He's solid. Now--if you know something--can we talk about Green?

Nuke is more "dynamic" than Teague imo. He just can't field a punt. If he can ever get where he can do that, watch out...

Fair enough, I'll concede I began to form an opinion too quickly. He's got a great future ahead of him (and hopefully in the 2nd half of this season)!

I'm hoping enough whispers pick up that we can begin to get some solid info on Christian Green soon. He is an exciting possibility.

I agree. He needs to get more consistent fielding punts for certain. I don't know if the coaching staff doesn't have much faith in him fair catching or it's him, but these hit and rolls are killing us, not to mention they've nearly hit him a couple of times.

I think Teague will have a better career just from a WR standpoint, but we will use Nuke in a variety of different ways to get him on the field and he will be a great All-purpose guy.

I wonder if they could put someone out there beside him just to catch the ball and then give it to him?

Rodney Garner must have went to church with him. I wonder where Rodney Garner has all this time for church. Does he still go to church with the players he has already signed?

In terms of recruiting, Green is basically down to four schools. He recently visited the University of Georgia. Green will visit Florida officially for their home game against Florida State (11/26). He also plans on visiting Southern California and Florida State.

Guess we were never in it.
