bump for stealing commits
Do not take me wrong Sims will be a good player in college, he will not hurt us if we lost him though. Not like James did. Even if we get Arie, Stone, or whoever we still will not get an OL like James this year. We have depth coming in at DB and Sims was way down on that list and with Allen probably playing WR and the way D White is playing this week again Sims is way down on that list. It is a position that will not hurt us right now. I would rather get a another DL or OL commit then all the WRs we have coming in.
First:
Second: Tennessee will need all the luck in the world to pull Blake Sims away from Bama. If Georgia, who came a-calling---and was/is his boyhood favorite team---and couldn't get Sims to decommit from Bama, I doubt LK and the UT coaching staff will persuade him. You should try like Tennessee is doing, but I would put the chances of Sims decommitting from Bama at less then 5%.
First: Stop overrating James, TW. He is fine player, prolly one that will be an All-SEC one day, but he isn't the end all to OL. I didn't like how James decommited (he freakin' lied), but if Bama can survive losing Bobby Massie on NSD, then can get by on losing James. BTW, James will be a heckuva player for UT.

I am just saying with James we took a hit, but with Sims it wouldn't really be. Also again rumors are that Sims might be a sign and place at this point.
CMR was the one that visited Sims. Sims family really wants him at UGA. The deal was that they ignored him until late. A picture from the Sims living room looked like a Dawg sports bar. Even the furniture covers were UGA themed.
“Tennessee, West Virginia, Georgia, Michigan, Florida State, and Florida are schools I am interested in. I don’t have a leader, I am not ready to commit to anyone yet, and I just want to see what happens. Alabama is still in there too.”
One school visited Sims earlier this week and the visit went very well. Lane Kiffin and Ed Orgeron spent time with Blake and his family on Tuesday and the Vols are definitely under consideration.
“They were at my house for a while and we talked about a lot of things. I have been up there before, I like their coaches, and I am looking at them right now.”
