My friend, this is a genius post. That is why the position of WR is not one of competition. Normally, elite wideouts tend to flock together. Why? Because the prospect of having two good ones eliminates double coverage. So let me ask anyone on this board: IF you were a Defensive Coordinator playing the Vols, who would you double team: 6'6'' Milton? All-American Markeith Ambles? #2 Receiver in the Nation Da'Rick Rogers? The extremely fast Ted Meline? The experienced playmaker Gerald Jones? What about the occasional gamebreaker Denarious Moore? Or what about the underrated Marsalis Teague?
Do you now understand why having one good wideout doesn't scare away another?
This scenario makes me drool. Thanks for all this TENNacious.
You know...I'm just waiting for some coach to shock everyone and put a big 6'8" OL out on the wing in the redzone (one who is especially athletic and agile for his size), and just throw the ball to him just like a point guard throws the ball down low to a big 7ft + Center.
I mean imagine someone the size of Allen Iverson trying to defend a pass into the endzone against Shaq?![]()
Soooo... does anyone know whether Markeith and Da'rick got into knoxvegas or not???

All Bray has to do is lob it up in the air and one of our boys will catch it.
Meline, Milton, Rogers, Ambles! Are you kidding me?
What do you make of the situation with Searles? He is one of Rogers main recruiters, but also rumored to be the OL coach hire here after NSD. So...has he been relegated to not much contact with Rogers and someone else taken over or is he still in his ear?Nance is on the way to K-town right now. No word on Rogers, but I would expect he is along.
