I know their were talks about him not qualifying academically. Is there any truth to that?

How bad would that suck? To sign this kid only to send him to JuCo because he does not have the grades to get in. These kids need to understand that academics play a huge part in getting exposure to get to the NFL.

It would suck big time, but if Georgia originally got a commit from this kid---THEN Tennessee manages to get him don't you think both school's coaching staffs would have done their homework and made sure he was going to qualify?

Not that anyone really knows besides Da'Rick but many close to the program believe he is coming to TN. Most of the guys I work with have either coached or still live there and believe it is a done deal. However, there have been many things that I thought were going to happen in my life and then........... nothing happened. Then again, there were times when you don't know and something does.... such is life.

Exactly. I think he's enjoying his recruitment and milking it for everything it's worth, but ultimately he's going to UGA.

However, I do find it amusing that UGA fans are so paranoid that some of those who believe he's coming here are already criticizing Dooley for allowing him to go through the hat ritual rather than just announcing he's all Vol ahead of time. Funny thing is a couple of days ago, I thought we had him and Ambles was going to walk. Now I have a funny feeling that we've got a better shot at Ambles. Come on, Wednesday...
