'10 GA ATH Da'Rick Rogers

I have a source within the UGA AD that tells me Da'Rick was told by UGA coaches not to make the return trip to Tennessee with Nance. This didn't sit well with Mike Nance or Da'Rick's mother, and there was a heated dispute via phone.

I expect Rogers to sign with Tennessee tomorrow.

V,B!

I'm convinced.

How do you feel on Markeith Ambles?

Excellent news! We are less than 24 hours from finding out if it's true! Sadly, I'll be at the hospital most of the day tomorrow, and unable to follow the updates as they come in. :(

Tom Lemming is a long time national recruiting expert. One of the first. Just because we don't like his "guess" doesn't mean he isn't good at what he does.

I really feel folks are setting themselves up for a "Black Wednesday". I do hope I am wrong though.

Shun the nonbeliever!

In all seriousness, though, I really think getting Rogers or Ambles would be great. Getting both would almost be impossible.

Jobiwan...

I'm right there with you on that! Just a nagging doubt I have with him at school all day with UGA fans and then announcing in front of the school.

Regardless of where Da'Rick ends up, I'm sure he'll be a good WR. (I think Baggett could make him elite but I'm a bit bias.) But regardless of where he goes I can safely say with no problems that Hal Lamb is a grade A douche bag. Even if this was a coach that had affiliation with UT, I would be pissed at the comments this moron has made in the press. Maybe it is an unfair media characterization but Lamb seems like a whiny child that has been sent to timeout with some of his comments.

Tom Lemming doesn't know anything. He's like most of the "recruiting experts" who just read the tea leaves and make educated guesses.

yeah what if we dont get eaither one....i mean calhoon is like berlin for the georgia reich.....nash naces father has already recived death threats from georgia fans....you never know he might be a good person and feel bad about turning on his commitment to his home state and a commitment he has had for 8 months...i hope this isint the case....but who knows....im just going to asume we end up with what we have now and if we get anyone else its just going to be added gravey...

+1....the fact that DR has shut him out tells me that he is tired of all the crap from Lamb, and all the other town members, and the UGA love. I will be shocked if DR goes to GA.

Da’Rick Rogers is the number one player in Georgia, but all signs point to him leaving the state to play college football less than 24 hours before Signing Day. I spent time in North Georgia Monday night in Rogers’ neck of the woods at a speaking engagement and the vibe was not good for UGA fans and great for UT fans. You never know what a kid like Rogers will do because he loves to make people think one thing and totally do another, but Tennessee Looks to be the leader here.

True statment

Guys, for those worried about him signing in the school, it's perfectly normal, there are four players signing that day, Da'Rick, Nash, a guy to UCF and a guy to UAB, the entire thing isn't just for Da'rick, although he will be the biggest story

I would love to have Rogers and Ambels in the vol family tomorrow but is it really gonna hurt us if we get one or the other or neither one of them? These kids are having fun at our expense and watching us get bent out of shape. GBO!!!!
