Da’Rick Rogers is the number one player in Georgia, but all signs point to him leaving the state to play college football less than 24 hours before Signing Day. I spent time in North Georgia Monday night in Rogers’ neck of the woods at a speaking engagement and the vibe was not good for UGA fans and great for UT fans. You never know what a kid like Rogers will do because he loves to make people think one thing and totally do another, but Tennessee Looks to be the leader here.
True statment
What goes around comes around. Didn't UGA take our #1 WR TN player last year?
Everything points to DaRick being a Vol.
Chad Simmons- Vol. He is a huge UGA homer and the best analyst/source there is for GA recruits. is never wrong on GA guys
Newberg- Vol. He had been adamant a few days ago that he would be a Dawg. he has now changed his tune.
Barton S- Vol
Farrell- Vol
Crabtree- Vol
Ladky- Vol
James Bryant- Vol
- Dooley got the last in-home visit
- Dooley met with his mother which kills that rumor
- he has visited UT the past 2 weekends
- UGA poster was adamant that DaRick was a Dawg 7 days ago. He posted today that Rogers is a Vol and he heard it directly from Rogers mouth.
- Nash (his best friend and a UT commit)told multiple people this weekend that Rogers is a Vol
- a thread on DawgVent is now saying that DaRick has informed the Calhoun coaches that he is a Vol
- students have already planned on holding up signs written in Orange
Seriously guys, I know there are always rumors, but how can all of this be wrong. I can see if half were saying he is a Vol and the other half saying he is a Dawg. But they aren't. EVERYONE says he's a Vol...

Sounds like barring a Jeff Luc scenario he will be a Vol but I'm not going to hold my breath until the LOI is signed and in our hands. I called Rogers to the Vols several months ago sarcastically; never dreamed we actually might end up with him.
Some of the most trusted posters on either site had Luc to the Vols. And for what it's worth I still believe they had it correct in what Luc was giving them. I'm just saying sometimes these kids change their minds at the last second before someone comes out blasting the experts tomorrow. There wasn't nearly as much smoke with Luc as there is with Rogers. Either Rogers is a Vol, or this is the most epic smokescreen I've ever seen.
