His facebook profile pic is him in the Georgia locker room with a Georgia jersey and the G's all over the wall behind him... I think he's just taking his official for the fun of it. But don't worry about him, he's trouble and a complete moron in school(doesn't have priorities near straight). Kid seriously would be nothing but trouble at UT or whatever school he goes to, trust me, I know him personally, not great, but I've met him and he's not the character you want.

Seems to me he's on daily... as for his character, he got kicked out of Darlington, a private school near here because of behavioral and grade problems, so he transferred to Calhoun, and from what I hear, hasn't fixed either.

I went to private school and I know a lot of people who were kicked out or run away from the school who are not 'bad' people like you are saying.

I do not really know his situation, but he seems to have some sort of family issues since I think he lives with the Nash family, and he might have changed since you last 'saw' him considering you are going by things that you have 'heard' from others about him.

the "word" you are referring to is from this very thread. As in, someone on this thread posted a link or made a statement that he was very excited to visit..... I call this the ESPN syndrome. They have some reporter go out and make a statement (i.e. tiger woods is in sex rehab center) and then spend the entire day reporting on this "breaking story" that they actually started...

Its nothing I heard, but it has been over a year since I've seen him. However, he got kicked out of Darlington, so the Nash family moved so that Nash and Rogers could continue to play high school football together. As far as what I'm judging off of, its better not to say publicly, but he was trouble last time I saw him at Darlington BB games and parties about a year ago. Now, you may be right, he might've changed since, but I just doubt it considering the reports about his grades.

I am not doubting you, but for you not to be personal friends with him and not seeing him in over a year, you really called him out and attacked him personally for no reason really. Just think your first post was a little over the top, especially for you to not really know whats going on.

Him not being smart or making good grades is not a good enough reason for me not to want him. Hundreds of athletes struggled in school and weren't bad people.

Kid must have gotten owned by Rogers in a game or practice. Probably straight up tea-bagged him while catching a jump ball for a TD. Or posterized in a pickup bball game.

Considering I'm 5 years older than this kid, sure, I got schooled by him... Try, I know personally why he got kicked out of school. All I'm saying is, Ambles is the better candidate if we have to choose one. Now, I don't have a problem with Rogers going to UT, if he can get the grades, but I just think he will be someone we have to constantly watch for grades, and behavior/drug tests. I'm only saying, if it costs us Ambles to have him as a WR commit, then I don't think its worth it.

Tough to say, with Newton's past discipline issues...but it's water under the bridge now.

With Newton, I would be feeling pretty good about next season, with all these WR's and the RB's we have in the stable.

Some of y'all are crazy. Saying that you wouldn't take rogers ha. He's the #2 WR and #9 in the country. He has skill and the potential to be AJ Greenish. If he wants to come you make room for him. Markieth has just as much, if not more baggage than Da'Rick.

To tell the truth he has more Calvin Johnson type potential than AJ Green. Yeah I know either would be fine. But he's maybe more physically gifted than AJ Green.

I keep hearing that Rogers is visiting with Nance just to get him more exposure. Not sure why because he already has offers, but that is what I keep hearing.
