4.5s with pads off maybe but definitely not with them on. Just my opinion but seriously this guys speed isn't on par with Aaron Curry. And, IIRC he only ran a 4.56 at last years combine. In fact, he was the only LB to run under a 4.6. So, just because you don't run a 4.4 at LB that doesn't mean your speed isn't special.

Stanley HAS been clocked in the 4.4's before... just like Bruce Irvin. However, he was also a 205lb safety coming out of HS. He's gained 35lbs or so since then...

I think he's a little quicker than 4.65 (Scout) but slower than 4.42 (Rivals)... if I had to say I'd say he'd run consistent high 4.5's... which is moving at over 240lbs.

Tough call right now... but I'd say they'll both stick with their original schools.

Nance has to realize he'd be coming into an eventual competition with Tyler Bray which doesn't bode well for him. Da'Rick Rogers likes UT alot, so if either of them do change it would be him. But I just don't see it right now even though there are rumors flying around about both of them wanting to commit to UT after their visit...

The only thing I know for certain is that UGA will NOT offer Nance. They already have a QB committed this class as a failsafe if one of the RS Fresh end up transferring. They have bigger fish to fry next year, and of all the positions they would like to shore up, supposedly QB isn't one of them at this time. If they had liked Nance as a QB, they would have offered him long ago. UGA will likely add DTs and a WR or two, depending of whether Rogers stays or goes.

I was reading the AJC and the Ga bloggers were saying Rogers was no longer a Bulldog and that he was a Vol.Anybody know anything about this?

Heard they had a GREAT visit and they both wanted to commit to UT this weekend officially, but Nance's dad "pulled the plug on that" and wanted them to think about it at home before making an official.

Truth is nobody knows right now so best for everybody to calm down and see what happens....these kids both seem to be handling their recruiting situations in the right way and i have to applaud them for it

i have a friend that goes to uga that swears up and down that he is all bulldog and that he'd never, ever switch... he's delusional though as most UGA fans are.

this would be perfect payback for the marlon brown debacle.

guess we'll have to wait and see

How good would you say the source is? It sounds like you trust your source. Do they usually have good info?

That's pretty sweet if what you're saying is true. I guess it pry is since it seems to go along with the them of thread. Not that he'll be a Vol but that it's the rumor going around.

I believe the source he is quoting is someone posted it from TOS. It's been posted in Da'Rick's actual thread (or maybe it's Nash's?) Anyways, that is what the poster said. The original poster of that quote from TOS on here said that normally that source is spot on and very reliable.

So...there's a good chance this could be true. But...we've all been burned by rumors lately, so let's just wait it out and see what happens. I have a good feeling in my gut. But I had it with Luc too. So....we'll see.

And as far as Meline goes, I don't know. Our WR corp will be (assuming we get him and lose Ambles): Hunter, Milton, Teague, Jones, Moore, Z. Rogers, D. Rogers. So, pretty good already. It could be possible that Meline stays on offense, but unless we pick up some actual DB's in this class, he may be going to defense. I can see a lot of players shifting positions. Especially some D-linemen to LB's. We'll see.
