"Everything went really well. I enjoyed this trip more than my first one because I got to see a lot more," James said of his most recent trip to Knoxville. "Last time I was there a lot of the day was taken up with practice and the coaches were working with the team and everything.

"This time my parents and I got to spend more time with the staff and to see a lot of things besides just the football program. I wanted to see the dorm rooms, which I didn't get to see the first time, and we got a chance to see a lot of the academic side of things as well. It was all good."


He has narrowed it down to Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Florida and Oklahoma and wants to commit this month.

All I know is anyone with that top five has to be pretty good. To have those five programs evaluate you and show interest is definitely saying something.

"The coaches first off, that's the biggest thing with Tennessee," James said. "I like the atmosphere up there. They're a new staff but it's a program with a winning history and they have some new energy there.

"Offensive line is a big need for them in this class too, so the depth chart there is attractive also."

It's hard for me to see him coming here, personally. I would love it, but I think Bama is too much to overcome.

Idk, bama lost a huge chunk of lineman this past year. But I agree with sab. Saban has a three year + start on us. Kids commit to where they feel most comfortable usually. This is why I think Bama wins, even though I would absolutely love this kid coming here.

From what I've been told, I believe he is UT's. I'm not 100%, but I feel really good about it.
