I just heard confirmation of the offers from a family member. Hope we are not making a mistake here. This kid is football smart.

if we only can land Bray and pass on this guy....i will be a little peeved given our QB situation

The UGA offer is a PR move. Richt needs ANY positive pub he can get right now here in GA.

How did he do against the, not even SEC caliber, speed of Colquitt County's secondary?
NO touchdown passes and 4 ints. I rest my case.

Not what I said. He's a D-1 QB. That much is clear. Just glad he is finally getting his due. I just think it's funny that some internet talent evaluators said he wouldn't get any offers. That's all...

I have said the same. He is not what will get UT where we want to be. The people wanting us to offer him are getting antsy. This recruiting season still has a loooong way to go.

You may be right. But NOBODY has any idea what he will or won't be in college. Numerous QBs come to school as undervalued 3stars and beciome great college QBs. We can't predict the future...

I have gone to 5 of his games in the last two years and I will be his biggest supporter IF our coaches offer and he signs. I just believe that he would be a five year clip board holder at UT, FSU, UGA. I hope he proves me wrong.

Yep Ms Lombardi ... your absolutely right. It makes perfect sense to judge the kid's talent level based on one poor game and to ignore the past two years where he re-wrote the Georgia high school football record books. Psssttttt ... you might want to call Mark Richt and Jimbo Fisher and clue 'em in on the true worth of this kid before it's too late.

He plays here in Cobb county. The football here sucks.
His numbers are great. He benefited from a spread offense that no other team in Cobb has ever seen. The defenses her in Cobb are very slow.
Read the comments on the AJC about his offer. Not even the UGA fans are happy about it. Richt is just looking for any positive PR he can get right now. FSU, well, they suck right now and need players for the future.
I have said that he can develope into a good QB. He will have better QBs come in after him at UGA or FSU. He needs to go to a school where he has a chance to play and not hold a clip board for five years.

I dont know much about him but he has good size and a 24 on the ACT is not too shabby.....:zeitung_lesen:

He must have some kind of accuracy and football knowledge to get the ball to receivers, even if he is supposedly playing pitch and catch against bad defenses.

He will not sniff the field until his rs junior year if ever...we do not have time for that kind of project.

Iowa pulled their offer to Hutson. They offered him a greyshirt, but that's basically telling him thanks but no thanks.

There is a reason that our staff is going after everyone who's anyone at QB and Hutson isn't on the list. This dude's arm didn't just get incredibly stronger overnight.

he has got some pretty good offers now.....even FSU....Georgia.....maybe something too the guy but like you say I dont really see a starter in his future with the QBs Kiffin wants. :hi:

Yeah, I would jump for that UGA offer while the window's still open. There isn't very much room at all in that class.

I think he will too as long as they want him.

Iowa called and re-offered him when FSU and UGA did...

Our staff has remained in contact with him and has tried to get him to come on another unofficial. But for the most part, they have passed on him...
