Why Van >>> Brown? Solely for the UF offense? Or for any?

I've never watched his film - thought he was listed as an athlete and 3* at that I think - where Brown is pretty highly touted.

Van is a stud. He's a big time pick-up for them. He is coming from a Prep School. He is a 4star and is still underrated imo as a 5.8. Watch his film. It's one of the best films I've ever seen. He's electric.

Absolutely silly to say anyone is better than Bryce Brown at this point who has not played a down in college.

Bryce has been dealing with an injury all season. He will hopefully get healed up and if/when he does, he will be the best back we have had since Jamal Lewis.

Mack is our best and most realistic option at RB this year IMO. We could certainly use his speed. Open up that ATL pipeline!

Yeah UT coaches understand his mother's view of Kiffin so Thompson has really been on him but this will play out like Marlon Brown in the end. UT won't get a visit because Meyer has his mother on speed dial. Mother just has the say in that household. Van will end up getting more looks at the "percy" spot because of his overall quickness and hands IMO.

It would ALOT harder to get carries with Demps, Rainey, Moody, and Van all ahead of you than it would be with Bryce being the only for sure back ahead of you...

His mother really has an issue with Lane so when the first visit was possible Meyer worked her to have the visit cannned. UT coaches had to visit him at MLKHS because his mother is so against Lane more than UT.

He's been recruited as an athlete. Won't know for sure until this coming spring whether they'll try him first at RB, CB or WR. Could be in the mix at KR too. With 3 WRs graduating, Moore still recovering, Debose still recovering and Alli still learning the position and returning our top 4 RBs alongside early enrolling Mack Brown I think Van will get his first shot at WR.

This women calls the shots in that family and she aint a Lane fan at ALL. The "copter" thing really rubbed her the wrong way. Meyer has her ear so Mack is ALL gator he didn't even take his visit to UGA/AU game which was the one visit most thought he would take.

Gotta be exciting for Mack Brown to go to UF. Especially knowing the QB has more carries than your top 2 RBs combined.

What is wrong with using a chopper? Didn't they stop at other places around the metro atlanta area? If so, seems like a quick way to hit alot of places. Just seems odd.

Sometimes is bigger than football for parent and how can anyone knock this lady for not wanting her son to play for a coach she's not a fan of? Why do you think some many parents love Richt because of that church thing he has going on they just fell better about him than other coaches.

I didn't see anything wrong with it....It was Lane being Lane imo but many of the parents felt it was wrong for him to take away from the importance of the game in that community.

What was so big about the game? I really don't know. I find it stupid and think there has got to be something else going on that we are not privy to.

It did just the opposite, it brought national attention to the game. You could argue that it took some of the players' focus away from the game, but even then, if a SEC coach flew in on a copter for your game it seems like it would just make you play harder.
