Read the first post, those are quotes from him where he says he likes TN.

He may not be a lean, but at this point does it matter ?

Long time until NSD.

Sure, there is a long time until NSD.

But I guarantee Mack Brown will be a Gator on it.

Finally back to discussion of Brown.

Any other Gator locks you need to be educated on?

nukeese :good!:and teague

You mean guy we don't need and guy we need even less?

The guys we're bringing in in this class will make Nuke and Teague look like punks. Mack Brown will be one of them to keep the discussion in the right direction.

Unless of course you're talking about Gator locks, which neither of them ever were. Teague might as well have not even been committed.

Florida fans were saying Nuke was a lock up until he signed.

I'm waiting for Debose to get smacked down like a red headed step child from EB!

Guys these posts have nothing to do with Mack. If we want to talk about how badass the Gators are, we should take it elsewhere.

Like a Florida board? Good. Get over there and we'll join you in a while and if you're sitting there for 3 days and we still haven't arrived, don't worry. Just stay at your desk without sleeping. We'll get there eventually.

he's still talking up Florida. considering that Meyer adjusted his offense for Leak & Tebow, I don't think it's out of the question to see a power back rush for 1200 there. they have afterall signed great O-lineman since Meyer arrived, but it still seems like RB's consider them for their record and their competitiveness more than their actual system and style of play. if I was a top-5/top-10 RB prospect, there's no way I'd consider Florida.

Tennessee has a few players that I am friends with and I have some relatives that really like them as well.

I am in no hurry to make a decision. I will probably take all of my official visits. Right now, I think Florida stands out the most because they have made me a priority and there is an opportunity for playing time pretty early.

Didn't Florida have like the 9th ranked overall rushing game last year? It's basically Texas Tech for RB's with the spread option gimmicky crap.

Tim Tebow: 176 carries for 673 yards (avg yards per carry 3.8) 12 rushing TDs
Percy Harvin:70 carries for 659 yds (avg 9.4) 10 rushing TDs
Chris Rainey: 84 carries for 652 yds (avg 7.8) 4 rushing TDs
Demps/Moody: each had over 50 carries and 400+ rushing yards

QB 1st in carries, total rushing yards, and rushing TDs
WR 2nd in rushing yards, rushing TDs, and 3rd in carries
RB 3rd in yards, 2nd in carries, 3rd in rushing TD's

full rushing stats---
Florida Gators Statistics - College Football - ESPN

summary----big dumb ox/QB in a linebacker's body running the football whenever possible. get the ball to your fastest wide receiver through reverses, lining him up in the backfield, and other formations. running backs by committee, expect to get less than 10 carries per game and to not break 700 yards on the ground.

Florida ≠ Running Back U

So this kid has a recent Free Shoes U offer. Gators seem to be leading. Considered y be one of the topic RB prospects out of Georgia. >1700 yards and 21 TD as a junior. In a recent article he says he is growing closer to the UT staff too.

per espn...

Under Armour All-American Mack Brown currently has Florida, Oklahoma, Georgia, Alabama and Ohio State in his top five, according to ESPN affiliate Web site CrimsonConfidential.com. Additionally, many believe Florida has the inside track.

However, Brown recently told ESPN affiliate Web site TotalUGA.com, "Florida is one of my top schools, but I don't have a top five or top 10. Schools that are recruiting me the hardest are Oklahoma, Florida and Georgia."

Brown's holding over 25 scholarship offers including his top five, Florida State, Miami-FL, Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt, Tennessee, Auburn, Oregon, Duke, Louisville, West Virginia, Arkansas, Michigan, South Carolina, Rutgers and Mississippi.

As a junior, he rushed for 1,702 yards and 21 touchdowns while averaging 9.8 yards per carry.

Just finished interviewing him and wow, the kid talks FAST, it was hard to keep up with him. Also said the greatest player he's ever played against is Eric Berry.

"There are several top schools that I want to see," Brown offered. "I want to see Clemson, Tennessee, Florida State, Oklahoma, and Ohio State. Those aren't necessarily my top five or the five that I will visit, but I would like to see those schools before deciding anything."
