I found out a little bit more about this earlier this morning. Apparently Brown's dad is talking out of both sides of his mouth. he told Justin Wells on GC that Mack was not going to the UT campus and Mack was "solid" to UF.

Mack Brown sends a text that says "I am not going to make it up to Tennessee THIS WEEKEND." Implication to me is he is trying to get up there, and this was a non-denial denial.

Then, I was pinged this morning that brown's dad told a UT insider that they will visit unofficially, but try and keep it silent, shortly after the UT/UF game. Supposedly Meyer got wind of the visit and threatened to pull the scholly, so they don't want that to happen, but they want to still check out UT.

I don't like where this is headed at all.

It would. I get the feeling this will be a Nuke/ Teague type of situation. On the down-low all the way up to NSD. Not a position of need, just another opportunity to tell Corch Meyers to suck it.

If we aren't able to keep it close with Florida this year, I can't think of a better consolation prize than stealing more of CUM's commits and being a cactus in his side! :the_finger:

What are the odds this ends up being the running back for our class? Killing two birds with one stone if Tennessee could land him. Florida takes a hit and Tennessee gets a faassst running back.

No news that I've seen. But we're in his mind that's for sure. Still don't understand why a RB as talented as he is would want to play in Urban's offense.

There's no telling what kind of lies CUM has cooked up for him.

yeah no kidding urbans offense does not help you to get to the League. Just look at their Olineman. ZERO have been drafted under CUM the last lineman to be drafter out of florida was Max Starks in the 2004 draft.........yeah

His mother isn't a "fan" of CLK and that may be a understatement. She had some really harsh things to say during the famous copter game (MLK vs Stephenson) but word out of MLK is he's firm to Gators but he's taking OV to UGA for Auburn game then going to Gainesville for FSU game.

TROLL? No really. A few of your Vol fans have come to the gator boards and given some good information plus I have a co-worker that speaks so highly of Sab and Vader so I dropped in a few days ago and its a great site. Nothing more nothing less. I'm a Gator fan but I don't hate Vol fans just think that people take this stuff SO damn personal like we are the Yankees and Sox jeez!

The mother really likes Florida and Urban Meyer. Lane Kiffin bashed UF and coach Meyer to Mack's mother. It isn't hard to see why she isn't a fan of Lane. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

His granny didn't like Kiffin and wouldn't let him come to UT. She wanted him to play for the Preacher Man in GA. So, in return, Kiffin kicked UGAs teeth in and Janzen Jackson crushed Marlon coming across the middle. Hope she likes her grandson getting killed by the Vols...
