Im not coming at you in any shape or form. Im not trying to deny what you said by any means but there are many posters that come on here with the same count and post similiar things and are wrong. I pray its true man. I really like Ambles. My apologies if I came at you wrong.

Seems as if Ambles is going to see his boys. I'm not one to read much into the whole facebook thing. If he shows up, that's great, and we have a shot. If not, UT Football will still do well. Whichever way, if he's pandering for attention, he's got it.

I usually don't believe in the facebook messaging. It's just hard to prove. But for some reason, I do believe you. It seems you haven't posted any rumors, just stated what was reported. In this case, you're the reporter. I'm trusting you, lol

I want Ambles as much as everyone else... but can anyone remember an incoming WR class this strong? If we retain Ambles... we would have 4 WRs in the top 41 WR list on Rivals.

I don't know what the deal with Thompkins is, but he is #20. I thought he signed with Simms, but I guess he didn't.

Ambles is terrific, and I hope we grab him. But by securing Hunter, our need at WR is filled. Remember we have Teague and Green as 4 Star WRs from last year's class. I hate to see everyone define "success" or "failure" of this recruiting class around signing Ambles. The true success of this class revolves around DD adding a couple of strong defensive players and offensive linemen. Sometimes people think by collecting stars, you have a great class. Four 5-star quarterbacks would give a great class... but it wouldn't mean much.

Again... without Ambles we have 3 of the Top 40 receivers in the 2010 class!!

Thanks... was unaware of that. I just took a glance at our recruiting list from 2009. We will still have plenty of receivers on the team I would think.

Yes this WR class has the chance to be crazy and I think Rogers would still come, even if Ambles is still in. Then you move Meline to defense where I think he could be a beast.

If you're gonna throw out Meline for the last statement, you might as well make it 20 instead of 40. Much more effective.

Keeping Ambles and somehow adding Rodgers would make this one sick offense, once Bray gets up to speed.

We just need some more horses up front.

Did anyone get official word on Thompkins? Did he sign like Rivals had listed, or was it incorrect? I might have missed it in another thread.

Ambles just posted on face book......"Its a patry in the UTK".........I would provide a screen shot but im on my phone. If you want to see it just send him a friend request. It looks like he accepts them all. His wall is full of new "friends"

so is he in knoxville now? or just singing Miley songs before bed:)

i feel a lot better about Ambles than most of you. the baggett/dooley/chaney super trio should be able to pull any wr from georgia that they want.

like jaq, this guy was all vol for a long time.

he had a huge game on national TV and his coach left all over the same weekend basically. i totally understand him lookin around but i think his hearts still in TN.

UT is really a better situation for a wr prospect now than it was a month ago
