This is huge. The fact he was committed for so long means he had an established relationship with a lot of players. At the end of the day those guys have your back on the field and off. Coaches are overrated.

Don't get me wrong I want Ambles as much as anyone. But, watching X recruit from last year, I was a witness to his style. I put nothing beyond this guy, nothing. For those of us that have undying optimism, more power to you, but I am a little wary of this tactic. Hopefully I am completely off base.

I have to wonder myself if this isnt a last ditch effort by the snake to snare Rogers. It just doesnt really make sence for him to feel the need to come with all the hoops he must jump through just to get here. Unless, DD has pushed the issue that he must get here this weekend to be a part of this monsterous squad we are putting together! I just hope everyone around this guy this weekend welcomes him.... With their guard up!

This might be a stupid question, but why don't other teams coaches pick up recruits and try and recruit them on the way to their school? Is it a violation? I've just never heard of a team doing this, and it sounds like it'd be a great idea to get extra one on one time with a recruit. It also said he was with "his boi" could that be one of the EE's (Miller, Smith) or just one of his friends?
