This has been posted many times. Not exactly an earth-shattering revelation. Also, it doesn’t seem like X would want someone who seems as easily influenced as Ambles to take a visit to Tennessee if he doesn’t have to.

Remember this is the lowest life form on the planet we are talking about, and Ambles said "I am a little Hollywood", this is why I think this. Look at last year with JJ, too. That broke in our favor, but it was still devious.

Some of you just need to stop. The conspiracy theories make you look completely stupid. I could totally see X pulling something stupid like this if he had anything to gain. I doubt X wants Ambles anywhere near Kville though because we do have a chance of pulling him based on the history. Not to mention I can't imagine a kid going through this much trouble just to shaft a program. Quit being freaking morons and use some common sense.

Okay, I was very skeptical when he was *talking* about visiting last night, pretty skeptical when he was stranded in Charlotte, but I'm starting to get less and less skeptical if he's really getting hauled to Knoxville from GA in a car now. Ambles could just as easily pull off Kiffin's scheme by doing so via phone. He's visited, he's met the staff, and could say "hey I'd like to commit" and we'd take it and the scheme would work fine.

But as this stretches on, it sounds more like he wants Corey Miller, Jac Smith, Matt Milton, Tyler Bray, etc. to be directly in his ear and remind him that they're all still here and that just 2 months ago Markeith was selling UT like he was our recruiting coordinator or something.

I just don't know anymore.....

I just find it interesting that a lot of people have written this kid off when he recruited as hard as any other recruit in this class outside of Miller. He has a little indecision and explores his options after the coaching change and our fanbase goes off the deep end. I would think after the Oku and Bryce recruiting saga last year people would be a little hesitant to berate recruits that are still considering our program. I guess ignorance knows no bounds though.

The "rumors" are really getting old. The most likely outcome here, due to the fact Ambles is trying so hard to get here for an unofficial, seems to be that he is leaning back towards recommitting to Tennessee. No doubt he is hearin' it from Miller, Smith, and the like. BTW, I heard Rob Lewis confirmed he'd be here in a couple of hours. TIFWIW. Snicker, snicker, snicker......

Don't get me wrong I want Ambles as much as anyone. But, watching X recruit from last year, I was a witness to his style. I put nothing beyond this guy, nothing. For those of us that have undying optimism, more power to you, but I am a little wary of this tactic. Hopefully I am completely off base.
