How is it possible that someone is a VOLS fan and doesn't know what the OCI is? Really, I'm at a loss here...

:shakehead: Facepalm...

Really....Dude not all VOLS fans live in knoxville..I have been there many times for a game but I usually show up the day of and leave that night

To DC Vol.

True dat too. I went to college when you could actually legally buy a beer on the strip. My bad.

Best burger on the strip. Rocky Top Market had the 'Bird on a bun, hot pepper cheese' guy ringing you up behind the counter. Sam and Andy's was ON the strip. Gus's was a dive before the 'fire'. yeah. I'm old.

True dat. You guys still in high school?

Tap Room ring any bells? Rocky Top Market? Anybody? ok, well, I can see I'm out of my demographic again.....

Taproom - hell yeah! Blatz beer was only 50 cents and came in longnecks. Of course then it was legal to drink at 18. But during that era, if you were tall enough to slap your money on the bar, you were considered old enough :)

I remember $2 pitchers at the lap on friday afternoons... seems like $3 or $3.50 was the regular price....

It says in the article that lance Thompson and a intern went to pick him up in Atl. Can they do that or is that a violation of some kind? I didn't think that an institute could provide transportation to a recruit. If someone knows the rules on that could you please tell me the rules on that. Thanks.

Dave Hooker wrote it... that's all you need to know. He never has his facts in order, so take it with a grain of salt.

Don't forget about the huge jar of pickels for sale on the bar.

Wes just tweeted about this and said that its his understanding that he can be picked up and taken to campus by a coach.

If they can buy a plane ticket then they can provide a car ride if it is an official visit which it is.

Does nobody go to the Half Barrel? I'm a UTC alum but whenever I go to a game the people I know at UTK are always there.
There is a girl that bartends there that pours very heavy as well. I'm a bartender so I watch for that stuff
