Taproom - hell yeah! Blatz beer was only 50 cents and came in longnecks. Of course then it was legal to drink at 18. But during that era, if you were tall enough to slap your money on the bar, you were considered old enough
That d-bag is no longer in my vocab. Come to think of it, a 37 yr old man saying anything to these high schoolers may seem a bit creepy. Maybe send my 10 and 11 yr old boys for an autograph. What section do the recruits sit in?
i remember when i could drink at the lap when i was in high school... probably the reason it's gone!

Love the Tap Room reference. Was really sad to see last fall that it no longer exists . Saw the sign still out front but looked like OCI's knocked out the wall and uses it for additional seating. Was too shook up to go in and see...is that true? The Tap Room and did anyone here ever go to Brother Jack's to eat pig burgers and BBQ?
Just saw Ambles-Big NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He was at OCI doing his thing. He told me he was for sure a vol and told everybody at OCI to not worry he is coming. This is huge news its a great day to be a Vol.
This was definitely posted on the other site and he seemed serious. Sab also posted and called BS, but he can be a witness. Here is what the guy stated and swears its true.
It very well may be true, but I'm not putting too much stock into it. I mean, if he did say it, what was he going to say surrounded by drunken and potentially hostile vol fans in THEIR bar? On him, I'm not going to get my hopes up.
Good point. He could say he is a Vol and laugh all the way back to Georgia. However, this is what the guys says, and I can only hope it's true.
