It pervades every thought in my waking moments. NSD will hopefully rid me of this burden of wondering what these highschoolers are thinking! Inevitably 2011 recruiting will start all too soon! :)

Just got home from work so I dont feel like reading through most of these pages but I just wanted to say that if Ambles doesnt end up a Vol I'll be shocked. The kid was stuck in Charlotte all night last night flew back to Atlanta then sat in a car for 4 hours just to get to the campus for a visit. He isnt here just to have a good time, the kid has to have some serious interest in coming here. My guess is that it was just to have a full day & a half with Dooley & Bagget so he can feel more comfortable with the decision.

Either that, or he has a suitcase full of cash waiting on him in SoCal for when he returns from his mission. I'd like to think that he has a little bit of sense though.

Absolutely the world's biggest hands! Always jumped the curb and parked right outside the front door to assist with safe entry and get away. Nothing like wakening up the next morning and smelling the leftovers. For other poster that asked where was Jacks, it was off of university avenue and was the oldest African American owned place of business in Knoxville. When the owner, Mr. Tip Jackson (hence Jack), died in the late 80's (I think) the place eventually went under.

No way this is true. Time frame of when he actually got into town and when this was posted do not match.

Another interesting tidbit about University Ave, there also used to be a vendor who rode a bicycle cart up and down the area we called, The Tamale Man. He would have these homemade hot tamales that somehow managed to stay steaming all day long.

.50 each if i remember right. I worked all over the neighborhood and ate at Jack's and off the Tamale Man many times. The funny thing is, you never, ever saw a dog or cat in the neighborhood. :blink:

LSU just took another WR commitment... Three-star receiver Armand Williams of Slidell, La., has pledged to the LSU Tiger after decommitting from Arkansas per ESPN..... Last week LSU took a commitment from wide receiver prospect James Wright. IMO Ambles doesnt go out west.. Bet its UT or NC for Mr. Ambles..... but that is just an opinion

Agreed. In the end, he's a Vol assuming no clash with Dooley.

Dudley, how did you know that Markeith was coming up here this weekend before anyone else even thought he was interested? According to him, it was a spur of the moment thing.

There's no way I can do this again next year, I am thoroughly addicted.

I'm sure I'll follow it for a few months. I'll be able to quit anytime. :good!:
