He was on the Lane Train well before Kiffin bolted for USC. This one hurts, but I can understand it and we've still got Da'Rick and Justin Hunter to go along with Milton and Meline.

We get so worked up over 18 year old kids, let them go where they're most comfortable. Best of luck to MA at USC

+1, Ambles was a great talent no question but we have the number 2 person in the nation at his position. I feel Ambles was more a luxury commit if anything.

Congrats to this kid, wish him the best of luck but wish he had been a Vol. Not sure why he went through all the trouble to come here this past weekend though, thats alot to go through. Anyway, move on.

here to eat my crow.... was almost sure he was a vol. figured only way he wasnt was if he was pretending not to be as interested in USC so kiffin could pull him on signing day and suprise everyone. o well.

Im glad. Didnt really want a TO type of Receiver at TN, We need guys who want to be a part of a team not just a stairway to the NFL. That's not loyalty, and it wont take you as far as some people might think. Why did USC do so bad this year compared to other years? Cause the players they recruit have no heart or love for the team, they are out for #1 and that's it. Good luck at USC Ambles, I hope we get to play you in a bowl game with players that have more heart than your whole team. GO VOLS!

This will sound like sour grapes, but does he have the speed necessary to get separation at the college level? His speed was listed at 4.65, but he looked pretty fast on tape (although looking fast is relative to the competition)

on espn u, they were saying he signed with USC, but the little subtitle thing said signed with tennessee. and it had a UT symbol. i got excited for a moment...

Anybody watching ESPNU? Did anyone see where it was talking about Ambles and it showed on the TV that he signed a LOI to UT? Prob. another screw up from espn!

I wish Ambles the best of luck and I hope this past weekend in Knoxville and him telling everyone that USC was out of it wasn't a cheap stunt between him and X.

I have to believe it was a stunt. That's the only thing that would explain the HH lie on tweeter. He's where he belongs. He seems like a Kiffin kind of guy.
