I really don't like some of the recruit speak. When they commit, they should just commit. If they want to enjoy the process, enjoy it without toying with the fans who will support you the next 3-5 years. He is very solid, IMO, but I don't trust other schools and what they may or may not use against us. We will see come NSD with Ambles.

I dont like it either, but he has been one of our most solid recruits too. I know if i was a prospect i would take every offical visit i could.

.
"This gives me something to look forward to, to go compete with some guys around my talent in January so it's just making me work hard right now so I can show out later on," Ambles said. "I want to prove myself to get that fifth star. I always have to prove something. I'm not just going in there to play in it. It's going to be fun but I just have some things I've got to prove."

This is what me and eric are talking about......
While the live NBC broadcast of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl has become linked with hat ceremonies and commitment announcements, it's not likely that much drama will come from Ambles during the week of the game. He has been committed to the University of Tennessee since late July. However, he hasn't ruled out taking some official visits elsewhere.

"It's definitely a solid commitment but I'm probably going to take some visits," he said. "It'll probably be North Carolina, LSU, Alabama and probably Miami. I had talked to North Carolina about going the weekend they play Miami but I have something to do that weekend so I'm going to change it up. And I'm going to try to work something out with the other schools too."

I agree, but I must say it causes concern obviously. It works both ways though. We can lose some to them taking other visits, but I have confidence our coaching staff pulls in more than others take from us.

i don't think he will. Why would he? he's going to be surrounded with NFL types, team on teh rise, stud qb coming in, NO proven WR talent around him so he could play early, die hard fan base
he's taking his visits b/c he can. no worries.
but just in case, i call dibs :)

I see him being a 5* by the end of the year. I believe this staff will keep him dedicated (towards greatness). His route running, speed, and open field ability will make him an early player and a #1 receiver.

Yep. He's rock solid.

His official visits will be mini-vacations, and chances to get in other recruits' ears. He's all orange.

I don't doubt it Jaytrain. I just don't like when they go other places. I really hope this is a ploy by the coaches to recruit. I think it smells of it, but who really knows.

The thing about Ambles is that he has visited everywhere already. He's been to Bama a million times. With the way some of the coaches snubbed him, he won't forget that CLK was there with him through thick and thin. He's solid...

JT5 speaks the truth. Kiffin may be setting him up on some of these visits to recruit. He and Jac have been our best recruiters not on payroll.

so you admit that you do indeed wear panties?
