They are different type of receivers. I'm just saying that he'll have that type of impact for us. Julio is a big strong receiver with good speed. His physicality is his biggest asset along with that NFL ready body.
Kembrell is a smooth playmaker.
I was really saying he'll have the type of impact on our offense that Green and Jones have had on their teams. As long as he can pick up the offense well enough. And Kiffin will make sure he does that.
Thompkins is one of the most explosive JUCO players in the nation. His highlight film speaks for itself, but after talking with standout cover corner Mike Harris (Thompkins' teammate at El Camino) Thompkins is a future NFL star.
Vol fans have a lot to be excited about. He could easily be not only a starter, but a big time difference maker for UT in 2010.
I'm not sure how much I trust a self-proclaimed recruiting analyst who misspells the word "recruiting" in their own sig on a message board.
I think Captain Obvious could figure out Thompkins is going to make an impact, but to assume he's going to be a star in the NFL based on a conversation with one of his....teammates haha, come on bro.
Not trying to hate on ya, but come on... cut the recruiting analyst stuff out.

Foot meet mouth.
Is being paid by ESPN to cover recruiting for their affiliate boards qualify as "self-proclaimed"? He's here to help us out and you aren't helping the cause.
It seems like you're wrong about most everything so lay-off calling people out for a while. :good!:

Really? I mean, really? Way to take a shot at his trade of recruiting analyst by knocking his spelling...let the man impart his knowledge. Good thing JaWuan is a lock to UGA right?

I guess I need to invest in a new keyboard to avoid misclicking and having to defend my spelling of the word, "recruiting."
Looking forward to talking with the VN posters like yourself that don't feel the need to bash my credibility thanks to a sticky keyboard lol.
Thanks for picking out a misclick. Considering that I just put the sig on to make sure that you know I'm not some random Joe feeding you information you might want to give me a break.
I've broken down both Thompkins and Harris on film over half a year ago.
Thompkins would have twice as many offers if his character issues weren't so apparant off the field. UT is going to take a risk, but I believe from talking with people close to EL Camino that it is a risk worth taking.
To go more in detail, Thompkins is the type of player that can take a 10-12 drag route the distance with a single move. He moves well in space despite being 6 foot 4 and 195 pounds. He can beat defensive backs over the top and also take a hitch/slant pattern the distance.
He's a physical receiver that has blazing speed, very similar to UGA's AJ Green.
