'10 JUCO WR Kenbrell Thompkins

Does this guy have the potential to have the same kind of impact for Tennessee as green does for georgia, and jones does for alabubba?

Why would UF turn away a kid of his caliber? Kenbrell said that didnt happen in his interview.....but I wouldnt admit that either if it happened. If thats true, I think UF ends up regretting that decision.

What was this kid rated coming out of HS? With his speed and size, what was the reason he ended up going JUCO? Grades? I tried looking for him in past Rivals rankings but couldnt find him.

He will be a GREAT player and fit for Vols. I watched him make big play after big play..catch after catch his sr yr. You guys have a player. Think juco made him the steal of this yrs class. I love the upside of Rogers but this kid is most SEC ready of any commit so far. Uf had other players higher but I would have taken him over everyone expect for Darius White, Rogers only problem with UT is if he "balls" he may be one and done or if yall have QB issues with Bray, he may not get to show all his goods but boy yall have a great one coming to Neyland

Kenbrell is the kinda WR that turns 5 yard hitches into 60 yard TDs
He will be an asset and a weapon to whoever lines up at QB next yr

+1 Anybody remember when Ainge got hurt and Cromp to over and with Meachem as a wide out he looked amazing, and this kid has Meachem potential IMO....

3* commit to Miami. Played at Northwestern. He was also 5'11 so he's grown some.

let me just say that 20 more reports will get him a warning. 10 warnings will get him a reprimand, if he keeps it up he's looking at a suspension.

We are still recruiting WR's because we lost Nuke and Meline is a possibility on defense. A large reason he commited to us is because he was told he could have a shot at playing safety. At this point, we only have 2 freshmen commits that will definately be playing WR. That is unless James Green resigns.

We are running out of room. If we take a QB and a RB, Green, Luc, Cullen, etc. The only way I see that we take a WR is that something doesn't work out with one of our commitments. Maybe that Meline ends up on defense if we can't get a top safety prospect. Or, more likely, that we aren't sure about someone- which would seem more likely to be Thompkins. He hasn't visited has he?
