Yep, can't wait to see him after 8 months on a college weight program as well.

I would take Greg Amsler over Rod Wilks any day. He was a legend on and off the field according to all the stories I have heard over the years.

Hey Vol fans;I'm new to this board thanks to Channing Fugate becoming a Vol.I have had the priviledge of watching this kid for the last 4 years as a Breathitt Bobcat and let me tell you..........you are all exited about your 4star players and all coming but you need to get excited about Fugate.He is a beast and that's how he plays.He will be a force after he gets on your weight program and wil lturn alot of heads.He is also a "GOOD" kid.No worries about seeing him on the front page for a robbery or seeing him on the academically inelligible page.He will play anywhere needed on offense or on D if that's where Kiffin needs him.He is great and you guys will be very excited about him.You will think you have a 5 star player when he hits the field.:superman:

72 is right. there is alot of excitement around here for Channing. he doesnt get talked about as much because he committed without alot of hoopla, and he hasnt wavered since. the numbers he put up his senior year were outrageous. we are glad to have him in Orange.

The Big Horse joins a select few Kentucky high school football players who have been selected all-state on both sides of the ball. As a junior Fugate made first-team all-state as running back. This past season he was selected as first-team defensive back, topping all vote-getters on the defensive side of the ball.

Will he play the role similar to Devon Hester of LSU? Does he have the speed of the Shawn Alexander that went from Bama to the Seahawks?

I am thinking of him as a FB with a Greg Amsler attitude, but it would be awesome if he were to beat out some tailbacks.

What about MLB?
