Alot of people are drinking WAY to much of it. Eric Gordon wasn't even talented enough to start all year for the 2nd worst team in the SEC, no way a coach could turn him from that to the best defensive player in the country.

Mathieu isn't even the best player on his defense. Just an FYI but Claiborne is the best DB in the country.

When he camped at UT, he didn't yet have an LSU offer. Once LSU offered, that's where he was going, period, UT offer or no UT offer.

There isn't one team in the country that wouldn't have taken a chance on him......oh wait, that's right our star-studded staff was busy lining up Mike Edwards instead. Piss poor job of not offering this kid and getting him on the spot. I don't want to hear the crap about LSU either, the kid was begging for an offer from us, and would have committed on the spot and told LSU to get screwed in the end. Even if he would have ended up going to LSU in the end, fighting for this kid would have been worth it. Total miss by Kiffin.

Edwards was in a totally different class...and IIRC it was our staff that discovered him in the first place, but why exactly would it be worth it if he was always going to LSU?
