'10 LA ATH Tyrann Mathieu

Despite being in different classes? Spare me. He's doing the same thing he always does. Defending Kiffin to the bitter end.

Also ignoring that Bray was WAY down on Kiffin's wish list. Only starting recruiting him after whiffing on Heaps, Rees, Hendrix, Scroggins, and Rettig.

Side note - That was a pretty good class for QBs. Lots of them playing already.

Does anyone honestly think Joseph would have him playing at this level right now? We may have our own Honey Badgers on this team right now (Eric Gordon) but not receiving the best opportunities available.

He's a fantastic player but a bit of a punk IMO. Can't deny his talent though.

There isn't one team in the country that wouldn't have taken a chance on him......oh wait, that's right our star-studded staff was busy lining up Mike Edwards instead. Piss poor job of not offering this kid and getting him on the spot. I don't want to hear the crap about LSU either, the kid was begging for an offer from us, and would have committed on the spot and told LSU to get screwed in the end. Even if he would have ended up going to LSU in the end, fighting for this kid would have been worth it. Total miss by Kiffin.

Regardless of being a Vol fan, this is a guy I cant stop watching when he is out there.

He is one of those polerizing players on defense (and special teams) that only comes along so often. Interesting thing about Honey Badger is he may not be as good as a lot of the other ones.

Litterally defensive guys you watch games to see. Thats what he reminds me of. When I am watching LSU, I am watching a lot to see what Honey Badger's not gonna care about today.

Any chance he comes to TN...I'll hang up and listen.

Eric Gordon is no where near this boy. Stop drinking the Kool aid.

Your best players aren't nice guys. Especially smaller CBs. He's not that big but he's a monster. He gets into WRs pads and does work. But for all the praise the Badger gets Claiborne is still the man at CB for LSU. He's the guy that just takes WRs smooth out of the game. I love watching this defense play. Their DBs are playing great technically and they are monsters athletically too.
