'10 LA DT Risean Broussard

Yes, he's rumored to have around a 1.3ish GPA.

now I've heard 1.2, 1.3, 1.7, and 1.9.. conclusion? NO ONE KNOWS

where did you hear that one?

Who knows what his GPA is, but he has summer school and next year to get things straight. Orgeron is the master of putting in the work to coordinate kids getting qualified. Let him to do his work...

We won't be hurting for DL prospects in this class, so if he doesn't make it, send him to prep/juco. No big deal...

I just read it on a message board, either way 1.2, 1.3, and 1.7 are all terrible.

He does have time and Orgeron on his side, though.

I said rumored, no idea how true it is.

Either way, grades are an issue.

LSU board confirmation then..

If you listen to them, we promised Jackson's dad a job to get him and paid Bryce Brown.

You won't get a bit of legitimate info from them regarding UT prospects.

His grade situation is very real. He is going to have serious work to do to get qualified anywhere. That is fact. What exactly his GPA is at this point is unknown, but the fact that he has serious issues isn't debatable.

I realize that, but that's not the only place saying that.

NYC from VQ said grades are a big issue as well.

grade issues are always a concern for linemen from LA/MS

My point is it is never as bad as the home team makes it out to be, this kid also had offers from OU and Bama. They wouldn't be showing so much interest this early if he had no shot of making it to school.

Even if he doesn't make it in it isn't some huge deal that people need to fret over, DL recruiting will not be an issue with Orgeron here. A kid spending a year or two at prep/juco isn't always a bad thing anyway.

I'm not worried in any way, just answering Beecher's question on if it could affect him getting in.

Orgeron will get us DL talent, even if it has to go through juco for a year.

that NUC video is dated May 8th, and he doesnt talk about UT. did he committ after the 8th? i thought he committed in April.
