you working there now?

see thats the thing with munchie, hes a wildcard, he does have a cannon for an arm, and when someone that knows what they are doing works with his mechanics its only going to get stronger.

when coaches are evaluatiing a qb they are also lookiing for alot of the intangable things that go into it. to say he cant do this or that is pretty assinine.
i wasent at the camps so i dont know what went on exactly , ive seen a few short vids, and heard conflicting reports on him and brunetti both.

Bret Weyman had a cannon for an arm. he tried about 4 different schools, including UT, but never could get it down.. Some cannons never work out

He will have his chance. But I disagree that everything points to it. He is awfully inconsistent, has questionable accuracy, and hasn't performed well at all under pressure. His upside is big in a spread offense, so he will get offers to those schools, but nothing is guaranteed with a prospect like him. I think he's a great WR prospect, but obviously Munchie wants to play QB.

Where do you get that he is inconsistent or is inaccurate? From what I've read and seen, he looked good.

His stats are solid:

Completed 203 of 295 for 1784 yards, 22 TDs and 9 INTs. Rushed for another 435 and 8 TDs.

.688 completion rate is better than Peyton Manning's was in 2008.

I'm honestly just learning about him since he named the Ducks as his leader. So, maybe there is something I'm not aware of that makes him look questionable?

basically, he came here to prove himself as a QB, and was pretty terrible.

I think his playing style would be better fit for an offense like Oregon runs.

His throws are wild. He's not very accurate.

He would do much better at a place like Oregon than a place like UT.

surely all offenses are meant to be precise

Who's offense relies on a lack of precision. J/k

Munchie was not impressive on most accounts at our camp. He is a project qb and will not be ready to play immediately like Sims, Scroggins, or Heaps. That is all

are you old enough to remember tony robinsons mechanics before they got them somewhat straight ? not being a smart ass just wondering.

There's always the chance if you change his throwing motion too much, his accuracy will suffer. If that were the case, he'd really be in trouble with his accuracy what it is.

With better mechanics comes better accuracy. No ones perfect, everyone throws pic, everyone gets sacked. Some more than others. Couldn't be much worse than what we have now. Crompton has good mechanics, see where that got us last season.
