Anyone else find it strange that Munchie had a totally different take when talking to the Oregon guys yesterday? He says his top 3 are Michigan, Baylor and Oregon. I can tell you only one of those schools would take a commitment from him right now and that's Oregon.

He told us in his email, "My top three are Michigan Baylor and Oregon," and expanded on those thoughts during our phone conversation.

You would think if the coaches were on him as hard as he claims that we would at least get a mention. Especially considering that Baylor has passed on him and Michigan already has a QB committed. No mention of Tennessee anywhere in that article.

Yeah, but they are much thinner at the position than Michigan and Michigan has a better prospect than Munchie committed in Devin Gardner. They also go 4 deep already with no seniors. Oregon has room and are still recruiting Munchie. I heard awhile back that Michigan wasn't going after him very hard.

I honestly think he ends up at Oregon.

I think he will end up at Baylor,if he ever gets the offer.

i think he may end up at an in state school now , possibley Tulane if stauss blows up big time like i think he will this fall.

man this kid has the talent, i just dont know what happend though, i have a few connections in LA and NC and have seen probley alot more film than you guys have, this one leaves me shaking my head. 1 thing you HAVE to have to play QB is confidence, if you dont have it , nothing else matters.

There aren't many coaches or recruting experts that share your opinion on Munchie. I have been telling people this kid isn't very good before it was the popular thing to do. Rivals took one of his stars away justifiably so. Confidence can only carry you so far. If you are as inconsistent as Munchie is, you'd be better suited for another position. It's okay too. Not everyone can play QB.

I believe Matt Prehm said earlier that Legaux is close to commiting to Oregon.

EDIT: Actually he said this: "Hes prolly Oregon bound. If things go well on his official visit he will be a Duck most likely. "

stars and offers dont mean much to me at all ,i have seen alot more tape on this guy than most and ive seen him do some amazing things, though ill agree he is a bit inconsistant at times. but he always has the ability to make things happen, he can play QB but , only question is if hes up to it mentaly. if we picked up someone like bray or newton, still yet i wouldnt have a problem with him sitting a year or 2 and gaining some confidence and seeing what he could do if he were called upon. they may dissagree with me on QB's but i know what it takes to be a decent one, im not gona name drop, but a kid from this area that went to play AT Notre dame, who also had an older brother that played for UVA from our rival school who i camped with every year, said i was just as good if not better than some of the guys he played with at ND untill my first shoulder injury. and to think i took my QB lessons as a 11-13 year old kid,from a guy on suvivor who lied about his name, gary hogeboom.

well im hearing the same thing from my sources close to munchie, that we have reopend comunications with him, and if we want him hes pretty much ours. sab it wont be the end of the world man, the kid will be ok tony robinson didnt look alot better when he came in years ago, but turnd out to be one of the best we have ever had.
