And Reaves has been such an amazing recruiter for us, right? If anything, he's hurt our QB search because as the hands on coach for them, he simply doesn't offer much. The OC and HC can't always be over there helping coach the QBs.

Really he got hired because he's related and Kiffin needed help recruiting in the early months of his tenure. I don't think anyone can really show otherwise

Kind of hard to do that before one of his QBs has taken a snap.

Reaves had 1 good year as RC, which happened to come off of SCars best season since 2001. Coincidence? Especially after the class the next year took a nosedive. It obviously wasn't a huge hit because I remember SCar fans saying that someone from within would just slide over and take the spot. Not sure if that actually happened, but generally their fans have a good idea about it.

I could see Kiffin accepting a conditional commitment which includes UT giving Munchie a shot at QB. However, if his progression doesn't meet expectations, he will be moved to WR.

I don't know how accurate this is, it's from July the 10th, but it says Munchie doesn't even have an Ole Miss offer. Not sure if the guy we like they are referring to is Scroggins or someone else. We knew at this point according to coaches that Scroggins wasn't coming here. There are far better prospects than Munchie that we could get to come here.

"Ole Miss, Tennessee, Michigan, Oregon are some of the schools on top right now for Munchie," Juluke said of his quarterback. "West Virginia already has two quarterback commitments. Tennessee has another guy they like and Ole Miss hasn't offered yet."

Absolutely. He's a much better fit in the spread than Munchie and a more consistent passer. He doesn't have the frame of Munchie Legaux, but he will end up with a better career.

Jeffrey Godfrey isn't a fit in this offense and there's no way we bring him in as a passer, but I think the same is true for Munchie.

I really have no idea what to think about this. He's picked up some more offers since the June camp, but I thought we were finished with him. If he comes here, we will for sure sign 2 QBs in this class, whether it be Newton, Bray, Brunetti, Rees or someone else...

If Munchie told Brunetti that he was ready to commit a few weeks ago, I wonder if he has tried to do it since then and the staff has not accepted it yet.

Godfrey is a baller. If he was a few inches taller and didn't have the huge academic scare tag on him he'd have offers from everyone who is anyone.

I don't mean to get off topic, but are we actually recruiting Godfrey as a QB, or as an Athlete? Apparently the kid is the real deal, but I don't see him fitting in our system as a QB.

I am so excited by this news. I guess there was no offer lol. Or atleast a commitable one. So is Bray the only one offered right now?

There is an article posted by Matt that states Tennessee is in his top two. And that Tennessee is recruiting him harder than ever. Calling most every day.

i know! and now im confused cuz he named his top three on rivals today and we werent in it and now he says were in it. i dont want munchie haha

I thought it was a recruiting rule where we could only call once a week...this early.
