Wide receiver Trovon Reed (Thibodaux, La.) is hoping to narrow his list down by the end of the summer and will taking several unofficial visits in the next few months to help with the process.
Reed is one of the elite receivers in the nation this year with offers from schools all over the country. National programs like LSU, Texas, Oklahoma, Florida State, Alabama, Georgia, Florida and Tennessee are just a few schools that have offered and the receiver will check out a pair of SEC powers this weekend.
"We're going to visit Auburn and Tennessee," Reed's guardian Sean Nelson said. "We've already been to a few schools, LSU obviously, Florida State was a great visit and then in June, we're going to check out some schools in the Pac 10.
"We're going to visit Oregon but still need to work out the date and he'll camp at USC for their Rising Stars Camp June 24-25. USC hasn't offered yet, that's the one big school that hasn't offered so far. I'm not sure what they're waiting for but Trovon plans to really light up their camp and come away with an offer."
Nelson said the plan is for Reed to cut his list by the end of the summer and then take all five official visits during the fall.
