IMO That may be the biggest news of the week, unless we get a huge commitment. He is the #1 overall player in the country. Rival guys have said he is a run away with it too. fwiw.

What NYC had to say about Henderson

The best prospect for a zone blocking scheme since rivals has started ranking players. The only knock on Seantrel is that he is not the road grader that a guy like Andre Smith was, nor does he finish off blocks as well as Andre did. But pass-pro, zone blocking and just overall athleticism are where Seantrel is nowhere close to the competition in terms of potential.

Yeah, run blocking isn't his strong suit....yet. With his size and flexibility, he can turn into a mauler. But in terms of pass protection, he's probably the best we've seen in a prospect since Ogden back at UCLA.

Guys, this should be on both boards. He is the #1 player in the country. He is supposed to be better then Andre Smith coming out of HS. With our glaring need for an OL in this class, he would be a HUGE get.

This is what Hubbs just said.

The big man from the Land of Lakes just told me he will be through Knoxville in June for an unofficial visit. He speaks with the Vol coaches every couple of weeks and the Vols have a good shot at an official visit.

Nycvol010 had this to say

Also, it looks like he finishes off blocks pretty damn good to me.

Looks like a pretty good prospect. But he's from Minn, there's no talent up there. Only the state of Florida produces talent.

Article.....

"For sure," Henderson offered. "I am going to check them out. I can't say that I know a lot about them, but I know they have a nice program with a good coaching staff. Coach (Lane) Kiffin did well at USC and they have a couple of Minnesota guys there which is nice."

Those "Minnesota guys" are the Kiffins as UT defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin was with the Vikings for years and graduate assistant Mitch Browning, who was a successful offensive line coach and offensive coordinator with the Golden Gophers.

Tennessee coaches have been by to watch Henderson work out, and the Saint Paul (Cretin-Durham Hall High School) native has kept in touch with the Vol staff.

"I usually call them every couple of weeks," Henderson said. "I just want to try to get to know them better and I want to make sure they know that I am interested in them."
