Don't get me wrong, I'm glad that it looks like we'll stay away from having to play KA 4 or 5 times in conference...but this is pretty shady. KA could be an absolute monster at S for Bama. I'm not saying he's the same kind of S that EB is, but he could have a similar impact as a SO and JR. Yet, this kid wants to go out west and play offense for Cal? Did I miss something? I knew he had mentioned wanting to play WR, but I figured that would be swept away and this kid would be the All-American safety he should be.
This one is a head scratcher...
It would make sense him going elsewhere since we picked up D Menzie. i really hate not getting KA but atleast he was not a must have position for us. Another weapon yes but we have a good selection right now.
My guess is that Keenan saw a chance to be explosive in the west coast offense and his brother felt he could contribute more at Cal than any other place.
i don't know what the cal coaches are telling him but even with riley graduating he'll have to beat out 3 elite 11 qbs with more time in the system than him (though none seem to be lighting it up in practice). i'd imagine at least he'd have a better chance to start at clemson.
I dont think this is the case at all. It is more of him wanting to play on the same team with his brother and the other cousins.
The SEC is a pressure cooker. He is probably not a competitor. Let him play beach ball out on the coast.

Really, that is what I read earlier also. But, playing for a person that will build you into a success should be more important that being on a team with your siblings. Especially Saban. And why commit to Bama, watch them win a title, and then bail, for a much lesser program??? He must really love his brother or be scared. You decide. V,B!

ha ha. true. obviously those cal and ucla teams weren't very good. but if SEC dominance was what people here said it is even vandy should be able to dominate a team like ucla.
