Cal was in it at first which is the primary reason why they are in it now. obviously the situation with his bro at buffalo changed things and tedford has produced many first round draft picks at qb and we will likely need a new starter the year after next (i doubt the kid will start though). what's the last great bama qb? joe namath?

KA's and the rest of the Greensboro entourage handler. The famous Otis Yelverton. That is him in the first pic wearing the Cal gear.

The University of California Golden Bears -2010-

Now the Cal people say nothing dirty here because everyone wants to go to Cal and play football. One player decommiting from the NC team 2 days prior to signing, another commit that seemed to be Oregon bound and moved to Oregon for HS FB. BTW because of Otis getting him banned from NCHSFB. One Oregon commit who he aslo coached possibly decommiting after they were PAC-10 champs. Again all three of these players and the half brother all played at one time under Otis. Again no hard feelings and I can understand why everybody is excited about Cal FB. Just like Otis in that pic.

that pick is from 2006 apparently (you can tell by the uniforms) so i'm not sure why he is wearing cal gear. tedford in the past has not delt with handlers. if anything being too by the book has been a major problem in the past.

Eating crow on saying we offered Maynard a scholarship. Thats what BOL was reporting, and very adamantly at that, however Saban addressed the issue and said we did not extend an offer to Zach Maynard. Word is it was a walk-on deal.

Props to you. Just going from the most reliable sources I can see. Honestly, I'm glad we didn't offer him. We really don't have the room. We are pushing the 85 limit to the envelope and we sure don't need someone's little bro taking up space.
