"I am at 15 or 16 offers right now," said Hendrix. "My newest two offers are from Maryland and Wisconsin. Several other schools are coming in to see me over the next few weeks to evaluate me."
"Tennessee was in on Monday to see me throw. They have been showing a lot of interest of late. Penn State and Ohio State are coming in to see me throw as well. It is definitely an exciting time."
"A couple of schools are starting to
stand out in my mind but I am not ready to talk about them publicly. I still consider myself wide open. After the May Evaluation period I may be ready to name some favorites. But right now I am keeping it to myself."
Just watched his video and I was impressed. I hope we offer this kid today. He has an extremely strong arm. If this kid doesn't end up a 4 star or higher I will be shocked.
While we are at it, we need to offer the WR wearing #3. That kid is impressive and would make for a nice package deal.

Just spoke to Andrew Hendrix Head football coach at Moeller High School in Cinncy,
A Tennessee coach was there yesterday for their practice, and was impressed with Hendrix throwing.
Apparently they are waiting on Lane Kiffin to pull the trigger, they think one will be on the way.
Nice, this kid really looked good in his game film I don't see why the staff wouldn't offer him a scholly.
I am assuming Kiffin is doing what Carrol and Orgeron have done in the past with the offers. Only the head coach offers the scholarship. So if an assistant was there, then we will have till Kiffin reviews the tape before an offer is made. I am currently reading Meat Market, and that was a point made in the book.
Guys, I just talked to a source, and this is what I got.
The staff feels like Hendrix is in the bag, but still want to try and grab a top rated QB, so the trigger hasn't been pulled on that. They also feel confident that Scroggins wants to come to UT. But, Heaps is the #1 target, so they are being careful until they learn what Heaps does.
This coach made it seem like the sense of urgency around recruiting QBs was picking up b/c they didn't like where they were at this moment. I wouldn't read too much in to that, b/c this staff has shown that anything short of a home run is disappointing to them.
I said all that to say this about the Heaps rumor, that nothing that coach said tonight or any of the other tidbits point to Heaps being a commitment at this point.
I am still working on getting an interview with Jake directly on the show and will update everyone when I get that set up or if I get any more information.
